I enjoyed working on the pattern because I thought I was ready to attempt something more challenging and move up in my skill set, which it did I now use the virus stitch for borders in projects because I like the way it looks. Granted my project didn't turn out the way I had hoped the first go around probably because I didn't use the recommended yarn and didn't account for change of gauge, tense and hook size as well as the fact the pattern might've been a tad out of my skill range at the time of first attempt but that's no fault of the pattern and I'm planning on attempting it again (even though I love my crooked wonky first attempt)

This was my very first crochet project! So proud of myself! That will tell you that the pattern is relatively easy to follow (although I did find some other videos to look at when I got stuck as I did not find the provided videos helpful to me, a beginner). It's easy to settle into the repetition and I find it very relaxing. I'm using Butterfly yarn and it's very soft and pretty. Great pattern!

I've lost count of how many I've made over the years! My absolute favourite ones have been using Sultan Deluxe.
The written version here is so easy to follow, no problems with understanding the instructions at all. Once you have the pattern repeat down, it's a super relaxing pattern that you can take anywhere or work on while watching your favourite show!

This pattern was super easy to follow and quick to work up. I used three colors of the Rainbow Bamboo yarn (green tea, artichoke, and dusty pine), and it works great for either an everyday scarf or a dressier shawl for formal occasions. I get a lot of compliments on it! The pattern is clear, and it even has step-by-step photos for those who are new to crochet.

I love this pattern, definitely works up quickly which is super nice! It's so elegant & versatile. I'm waiting for my first ever purchase from hobbii to try the pattern again with the "sultan" I ordered. I know it will feel & look great!
I personally think it's an easy pattern to follow it is very well written !
