This was the first pattern I've attempted in velvet yarn, and that was quite a challenge, so it's hard to assess the difficulty level. I am quite happy with how the resulting toy worked out, however. Just gave it to the recipient earlier today, and while they don't talk yet, they seemed pretty enthusiastic.
