Friends Wheel is a lovely combination of the softest cotton with the lightest acrylic yarn.
Cotton brings strength, softness, and durability, whereas acrylic contributes to giving the yarn vibrant colors and a nice feel to the touch.
Friends Wheel is made out of 4 threads and will create a gorgeous drape when worked up. You can now unleash your creativity by planning fabulous lace projects such as tops, cardigans, shawls, scarves, etc. If you prefer a fuller look, you can always stick to the recommended needle/hook size or even double the thread up.
Up for experimenting? We recommend pairing Friends Wheel with a fluffy thread of our Friends Kid Silk, it will do wonders and give the garment a hint of luxury and extravagance.
This yarn is machine washable at 40°C (104°F), which makes it perfect for everyday use and suitable for children’s garments as well. The whole range comes with our “easy start” pull-out tab, making it much easier to find the beginning of your skein.

The colors of the yarns included in the Friends family are literally friends!
This means the color numbers correspond to the same color across the different Friends yarns. If you order the same color number from two different Friends yarns, they will match. Please note that there can be slight differences in the shades from fiber to fiber.

I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this yarn is. The mix of acrylic with the cotton gives it a soft feel. I LOVE the color options. I was looking for quality thin yarn and this meets my expectations. I feel this is more of a number 1 yarn than a number 2 but I’m comparing that to a number 1 yarn I get here in the US. I love working with thin yarn so now that I found these, I’m going to definitely order a lot more. I love that Hobbii offers so many options in thin yarn. Can’t wait until my next order!

I had a great experience working with this yarn. Frogs easily, great stitch definition, has enough give to spare your hands, and great cake size. The only downside for me, like with many Hobbii brand yarns, is that the colors lean more to bright rather than rich. So long as you can find the color you want, this is a great summer yarn!

This is my first time using sport weight yarn and I am loving it! The color is accurate to the photo (85) and even a little more vibrant in person. Super soft and easy to work with so far. I am making a crochet waffle stitch cardigan, and this yarn is perfect and super lightweight but looks and feels squishy and warm with this stich!

I made a dress for my granddaughter out of this yarn. The dress was knitted in the round and turned out really wonderfully. The fabric had a lovely drape and a soft sheen to it. I cannot wait to see my granddaughter wear it! I have ordered more yarn to make a summer top for my daughter because it is just so nice.
