Friends Wheel Multi is a lovely combination of the softest cotton with the lightest acrylic yarn.
Cotton brings strength, softness, and durability, whereas acrylic contributes to giving the yarn vibrant colors and a nice feel to the touch.
Friends Wheel Multi is made out of 4 threads and will create a gorgeous drape when worked up. The color palette includes strong and saturated colors charmingly transitioning from one to the other, some of which shift to lighter and more subdued hues. The gradient colors will provide a sense of harmony and a stunning visual effect to your creations. You can now unleash your creativity by planning fabulous lace projects such as tops, cardigans, shawls, scarves, etc. If you prefer a fuller look, you can always stick to the recommended needle/hook size or even double the thread up.

This yarn is machine washable at 40°C (104°F), which makes it perfect for everyday use and suitable for children’s garments as well. The whole range comes with our “easy start” pull-out tab, making it much easier to find the beginning of your skein.

Pro tip: Friends Wheel Multi is a very flexible yarn that can be knitted tightly with 2,5 mm needles (US 1.5), so you get a knitting gauge of approx. 28 stitches. You can also knit it looser with 4 mm needles (US 6) and get approx. 22 stitches for e.g. extra soft shawls and scarves. Thus, you can experiment with the knitting gauge and easily vary it with various needle sizes depending on the project you are about to start.

About the Friends family
The colors of the yarns included in the Friends family are literally friends!
This means the color numbers correspond to the same color across the different Friends yarns. If you order the same color number from two different Friends yarns, they will match. Please note that there can be slight differences in the shades from fiber to fiber.

I bought 3 cakes in colors #21 Deep Sea and #34 Sunflower. (Too much to crochet a men’s long sleeve tee shirt, but I wanted to control the color changes)
These colors are so vibrant and exactly as represented in the photos. Both of these wheels have the darkest color in common (black current or eggplant, I think)
I’m only 2/3rds through the first cake but it is a very nice yarn with no flaws so far. Friends Wheel is twisted, so a little less “split-y” … a lovely yarn with a little shine to it.
