Amaryllis

I wasn't sure I'd be able to make this one since I'm pretty bad at actually following patterns but I'd say it went well! I didn't have the correct yarn for it so I had to improvise with a solid yarn, but it still came out very nice. It took me about a week and a half, which is partly because I had never worked with super fine yarn before and partly because the pattern required just enough attention on my part that I couldn't crochet while working. It's still a gorgeous pattern and I wear that shawl whenever I can.

Fun project to do. I liked how the pattern went from increases to build the shawl and then to decreases to end it! It made for a quick and motivating finish. The yarn was also interesting...I used Universe, which has nice color changes and sparkle! I am going to use the pattern again to make smaller scarves as gifts...the pattern is versatile with the dragon scales edging the best part!

I had been eyeing this pattern on FB advertisements for months. I didn’t realize it was free until about a month ago and I went to work!!

I used yarn from hobby lobby that gave me dragon vibes and I’m just in love with the results. Wonderfully easy pattern to follow, and beautiful finished product! I’m a happy camper!

Peggie... One of the most well-written patterns that I have seen. SO EASY to follow. This pattern works up quickly and is easy to memorize. I used a different yarn for the body than what was suggested and a contrasting yarn for the border.

This is a very clear pattern! It also includes diagram pages for those of us who prefer visual aides. I made mine from the Favre color of Moonlight yarn, which is an outstanding color scheme for autumn.
