Universe is a really nice yarn, with a long, elegant color gradient. Here a thin glittery thread is spun in, that can add a little sprinkle of glamour to any project. The glittery thread is so fine that it can hardly be felt - however it can be seen! It matches the yarn’s colors so you’ll get a really cool bling effect, without being too ballroom.
You’ll go a long way with the 462 meters in a single skein, so not much is needed for a super festive shawl or poncho.
We are crazy about glitter!
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

Super Cluster, this is beautiful and soft. It’s very fine thread and not itchy at all. Works well for lace weight items or double stranded with Sultan Deluxe (I would recommend one of the grey to black/black to white ones to let the true brightness of this yarn stand out).
Highly recommend these. The glittery thread in it is just an amazing addition to the soft colour change. Also, the glitter thread is a different colour depending on which Universe colour you pick! It could be silver, pink, blue, gold etc. It is just really beautiful and I recommend having a stash of these aside to add a pop of colour to a plain blanket or even for a smaller project like gloves.

I ordered this yarn by accident, I meant to buy the Universe XL in order to make a hexagon cardigan. When I received it, I decided to use it anyway with a 4mm crochet hook. The yarn is absolutely gorgeous and softer than I expected considering it has the metallic thread running through it. I found it easier than expected to work with, it didn’t split often. The sweater has a lovely drape and is lightweight. I washed it in a laundry bag and let it air dry, which worked fine. I would definitely order this yarn again but it might be a while before I make another cardigan with it, that was a lot.

This yarn is beautiful! It’s the thinnest yarn I’ve used to crochet a large project with, but it was much easier to do than I imagined.
Despite the shimmer thread, which initially felt rough running through my fingers as I crocheted, the garment I made actually turned out quite soft, squishy, and airy.
The shimmer makes a beautiful design when the project is worked up. At times, the shimmer part got caught on my hook, but it didn’t slow me down much. The yarn looks glamorous, not gaudy, in part because the yarn is so delicate. I’ll be ordering more of this yarn in the future.

This was my first order from Hobbii. The yarn is beautiful and so soft. I was worried at first that it would split easily while I worked it but that was not a problem for knitting or crocheting. The color was true to the website and the yarn has a uniform weight. The fibers feel delightful as you work with them and the metallic glistens softly at you and does not feel scratchy at all! The fine yarn makes for very delicate work that looks like lace. The yarn looks glamorous, not gaudy, in part because the yarn is so delicate. I’ll be ordering more of this yarn in the future.

I really enjoyed working with this yarn. This is the first time I’ve used yarn as thin as this to crochet a scarf and it turned out beautiful. The glittery thread adds a little sparkle to the scarf without being too overpowering. The thread flows easily on the hook and I had no issues at all when frogging any of my mistakes. I crocheted the Zig Zag Scarf which calls for another brand of yarn, but I think Universe worked out beautifully. I used the (31) Stella Polaris color. I am gifting this scarf to my aunt but I’m planning to work on some other patterns using Universe.
