I was afraid to make a garment but I really wanted to try and make one. I started to knit, August of 2022 and made my first garmenr through this MAL in April 2023. My skills in knitting are very basic as I have only done scarves and cowls. This was a fun build up to do. And I learned alot of new skills. Color changing. Knitting an L shape to make a square, knitting diagonally, making a ribbing, the icord stitch, sewing parts of knitting, making sleeves and sewing them together, how to tuck my threads so I do not have to sew the ends later. . .I would have never dared to do color work. The squares cut the intimidation of making a garment. I am happy my husband supported me to do this project and complete it by April 30. I feel more confident to do garments and color work. Thank you for this beautiful project!

I totally enjoyed the Mystery Knit Cardigan by Katie. I used yarn from my stash which is a worsted weight. The medium size I knit was larger than I thought especially the sleeves so I decided to knit smaller sleeves with less stitches and six rows of each of nine colours. I added two pockets on the sides and I posted the sweater. I will definitely participate in another mystery knit project. I wear my new cardigan proudly and has received several compliments.

I loved loved this MAL . My completed knitted cardigan is beautiful . It was a bit short at the beginning but I added stripes on the bottom before the ribbon . I will get a lot of wear with this cardigan and can’t wait for the next MAL . Many thanks to Katie and the Hobbii team for such a colourful and fun project. The color selection was perfect !

I was not able to start this Make Along as I previously wanted to. I read the pattern every week as it became available. The instructions are so detailed and well written. Thank you so much for such a wonderful pretty pattern Katie Jones! I cannot wait to start as soon as I am able.

Still knitting at the moment...Still a couple of log cabins and the sleeves to do
Not sure about this but I will.finish it and maybe find a very much younger person to give it to.
I am from NZ and my friends are all enjoying the project! Easy to follow.
