It’s crocheted in Rainbow Bamboo, which is made from 100% natural materials (60% viscose from bamboo and 40% cotton)

Bamboo fibers is a sustainable material, absorbs moisture, and is said to have antibacterial properties.

They’re very strong and add extra durability to the yarn. It’s both breathable and temperature regulating. Perfect for a baby.

The yarn also adds a nice weight to the blanket, which also makes the blanket drape beautifully.

I made this blanket for my coworker who is pregnant and she loves it! It was super easy to follow. It looks harder than it is, it was actually incredibly easy! I’m awful at keeping my blanket edges straight because my stitch count always ends up being off from me picking up or losing stitches on the ends and who wants to count all those stitches when making a blanket? This was actually easier for me because there’s just a small number of stitches to count between the chain spaces that make the heart design. So it was easy to keep track of my stitches and still be able to mindlessly crochet while watching tv with my husband!
