PATTERN INFORMATION

This cardigan is knitted from top to bottom with Raglan increases. There are additional increases for the V-neck after the first st and before the last st of a row. As soon as the yoke is finished, the sleeves are going to be separated from the main body.

The sts will be slipped over on a stitch holder. The main body is going to be knitted in one piece and will be finished with a 1 × 1 ribbing (k1, p1). Last not least, the sleeves are going to be knitted in rounds. They appear in balloon look and as well with a 1 × 1 ribbing. At last, you will knit a button panel in double knit directly on the edge of the V-neck on the right front part, the back part and the left front part. The whole cardigan will be decorated with colorful bobbles that you work in while knitting.

The shape of the cardigan is loose and oversized, the sleeves are wide and look quite voluminous because of the tight ribbing.
