Channing

The good things: Concept is a decent pattern. It has a nice woven texture that looks good even in a solid color and the stitches used are not overly complex.

The bad: Poorly written. It has the same errors with missing steps throughout the entire pattern as much of it is copy and pasted. And one of the other steps states that it's "crucial" to get exactly right and then proceeds to give instructions that you have to guess at exactly how you're supposed to do that row and hope the rest of the pattern comes out properly.

Also, it runs small. Not by a little, unless this was meant for children and it wasn't mentioned. I made the largest size and it was no where remotely close. It came out as the smallest size. I even double checked the size of yarn and hook I was using.

All in all, you're better off trying another pattern. I've seen better written free patterns, so it astounds me how much this one is being sold for.
