Hi, it's me, the knitter who never actually follows a pattern! My baby girl is getting baptized this Sunday, and I used this pattern to make her gown... kind of. The pattern was really easy to follow and super easy to modify! I didn't want to crochet around all the edges so instead I added 10 stitches (5 on each side) to do the buttons. I put a button hole every 3cm. I wanted the skirt to be closed so I overlapped my 5 extra stitches on each side and knitted them together and then worked in the round. I really was going to use the lace pattern but then I found a different one on Pinterest that looks like little angels and, wouldn't you know it, the pattern repeat worked perfectly with the number of stitches in the skirt! So thank you, hobbii, for a wonderful, easy-to-follow pattern with great sizing!
