PATTERN INFORMATION
The Ophelia cardigan is a lace cardigan with flare sleeves. It is worked with a fantasy stitch, which gives a lightweight and airy look to the piece. It can be made cropped, long, oversized, or tight. It is made from top to bottom in 5 different pieces, the back panel, 2 front panels, and the sleeves. This pattern includes easy-to-follow instructions as well as pictures to make it accessible to crochet beginners!

This pattern was sold as beginner friendly but I disagree.
The starting chain stitch count was wrong. Pattern shows multiples of 8 but should be (8+3)
The sleeve section does not give a stitch count other than ( I used 80 sts for small/ medium, you need to measure your arm, this is not helpful for a beginner.
The hook size is also too small for this pattern.
This is a premium priced pattern that is not up to scratch, it needs some more work before charging customers.
I have never had an issue with any other Hobbii pattern before.
I am not a beginner so managed to overcome the issues.
I made the cardigan longer and left off the front ties.
