PATTERN INFORMATION
Jules stole is worked in two strands of Friends Kid Silk and is a light, soft, and lovely project.
The fine structure is made with a rib pattern of purl and knit back loop stitches. Besides that, two different needle sizes are used.
Jules stole can be used as a shawl around the shoulders or as an ordinary scarf.

Very interesting construction. The way to make the "hole" for one end of the scarf to fit through is quite clever. However, I'm not sure it's worth using two different sized needles every other row. In other words, the fabric created with just one size of needle would be lovely too. That being said, if you do want to follow the pattern exactly, interchangeable needles would be ideal for this project (one size needle on one end of cord and other size needle on the other end of cord).
