Greta - Beret
Festive beret in Metallico
The Greta beret can be used every day or for a party, as an accessory or to keep warm.
The Metallico yarn makes the beret nice and shiny.
Have fun!

I made this recently for my niece. The pattern is lovely and I enjoyed making it. It looks large, so Iโll be interested to see how it fits when Iโm able to post it to my niece.
Reading other reviews, perhaps I should have stopped a row sooner.
Thank you for the pattern. I will definitely make it again. ๐

Wow! Really cute, easy and fast to make! Took only two Metallica..
I stopped at row 21; felt it perfectly sized to here.
Finished in about 3 hours, max!

Really happy with my finished beret. I made it for a family member and she loves it. Will certainly make more.

The pattern worked up well, came together quickly. Its great travel project as well.

I love this yarn, but the "Greta - Beret" pattern needs work. For example, on rows 3 to 15 it says to "double crocket in each space". Does that mean that you should be doing a chain 1 between groups of double crochets (to create a "space", as in round 2), or is the "space" the transition between groups of double crochets? Also, for rounds 17-18, it says, "chain1, 1 double crochet in each space". I think that is meant to say alternate chain 1 with double crochets around, but the way it reads you only do one chain 1, and then double crochet around. Can someone clarify and update for future people who use this pattern?
