We really just cannot get enough of our fantastic Friends Cotton 8/4.
Cotton is a great, strong, durable, breathable, absorbent, and lightweight natural fiber. Friends Cotton 8/4 has no less than all these characteristics and it is made out of 4 threads spun together.
All the shades have been thoughtfully selected to create a complete range that spans from bright to pastel and darker colors.
The whole range comes with our “easy start” pull-out tab, making it much handier to find the beginning of your skein.
This fiber is also easy to take care of, making Friends Cotton 8/4 so versatile that you can craft anything with it. Need some inspiration? We recommend dishcloths, pot holders, totes, and rugs for your house. It will be suitable for any kind of garment for babies, children, and adults. And let’s not forget stuffed toys, amigurumi, and cute animals. Cotton has a great stitch definition and will work amazingly well with textured stitches.

About the Friends family
The colors of the yarns included in the Friends family are literally friends!
This means the color numbers correspond to the same color across the different Friends yarns. If you order the same color number from two different Friends yarns, they will match. Please note that there can be slight differences in the shades from fiber to fiber.
Have fun combining and matching them in all your projects.

Very happy with this yarn overall. The yarn is soft, works well, wears well, and love the variety of colors available. The skeins seem small but have more yardage than I expected- I can knit a summer blouse on around 4 skeins. However, I have found some breaks and inconsistent color in several skeins, such as lengths of yellow staining in light purple yarn, which is quite noticeable. Still worth it for the price/variety/color, but I would like to see a little more quality control.
I am unbelievably happy with this yarn Luxuriously soft, pill free, easy to work with and easy to get started with the first point pulled out of the ball so easily without worrying about knotted yarn. Even the colour choice can't be beat. This is seriously my amigurumi goto yarn - I even was able to easily work with a 1.65 mm hook on the 8/4 yarn without catching or splitting the fibre. I'll upload photo where I can of my projects
I mostly use cotton yarn since I primarily do kitchen and bath projects and this is one of my favorites. It is soft and the colors are so vibrant! I have used just about every brand out there and I really love the Friends Cotton. In the 8/4 size I like to double it up with different colors to match decor. This is definitely my new go-to cotton!
Oh my gosh! Let’s talk about soft, this yarn is so smooth and easy to work with. The yarn is wrapped neatly and has an easy start pull tag. I’m most of the way through a couple of skeins and haven’t found any tied knots or frays. I’ve already put in another order and will definitely be ordering more in the future.
Pure white yarn.
What you order is what you get the color is very representative of what you see on screen. I am in LOOOVEEE with the easy start label!! Why are not all yarn like that!
The yarn is soft for cotton and it doesn't stick to itself so it's easy to pull from the center.
