We are crazy about glitter!
Universe is a nice yarn, with a long, elegant color gradient. Here a thin glittery thread is spun in, that can add a little sprinkle of glamour to any project. The glittery thread is so fine that it can hardly be felt - however it can be seen! It matches the yarn’s colors so you’ll get a cool bling effect, without being too ballroom.
You’ll go a long way with the 462 meters in a single skein, so not much is needed for a super festive shawl or poncho.

I'm almost done knitting my first ever sock with this and I absolutely LOVE the colour #21 "Sparkling Lights"! One sock barely used any yarn, so I'll have enough to make at least one more pair, which is amazing, because I just came back here to get more and colour 21 is sold out. (I'm ordering one each of the other colours that are left!) This yarn has REALLY long colour changes and the tinsel is luminous. The only complaint I have is that this yarn separates from the tinsel just a little bit, and the tinsel is broken in a couple places, but it's been easy to just knit those back into place. It's a one-ply yarn under the tinsel, so the yarn does not split easily. It's been great to use this for the first time I knit socks! (And my first time ordering from Hobbii!)

I bought one skein of this to try my first ever toe-up socks and make a pair of Christmas socks for myself. I was so pleasantly surprised in so many ways! First of all, I made one "practice" sock and then a true pair and still had enough yarn leftover that I should be able to frog the first sock and basically make another pair -- it's so much yarn! Second, the sparkle fiber is cheery and wonderful visually, and hardly noticeable by feel when wearing or working with the yarn -- what a dream! I also loved the long length of the color changes which allowed for me to be able to make a near perfect matching pair of socks with lovely intentional sections of color and gradient. Would highly recommend.

Universe is an amazing yarn by default but I hadn’t gotten the Christmas ones before! I got Christmas Comet and am so excited to make more projects with it! I swatches with a Granny Square and it’s soft as usual! Very sparkly with the glitter thread! I feel as though the glitter thread separated a bit more than I am used to with the other colors but it’s not terrible and easy to weave back in!

I bought Sparkling Lights and Christmas Comet to knit up some socks and I was not disappointed. The color change was gorgeous, and they really do sparkle! I didn't have any issues with tangles or breaking tinsel like others mentioned, so I can't speak to that...all I know is that I was definitely pleased with this yarn and am already thinking about buying more!

I adore this yarn. I've used several different colorways. I have to admit that the colors with gold sparkle are a scratchier than the colors with other colors of sparkle. However, it is so gorgeous. I love how it works up, either single or double stranded.
