PATTERN INFORMATION

The suit is worked from the top down. First, work back and forth in stockinette stitch, creating a slit at the back of the neck, before the work is joined and worked in the round on circular needles 40 cm (15.7 in.) / 60 cm (23.6 in.)

To begin with, saddle shoulders are shaped, then some increases for sleeves and finally simultaneous increases for the yoke. The body is balloon-shaped and the increases start after you have worked approx. 1-2 cm / 0.4-0.8 in. - measured from under the sleeve.  When you work the decreases for the balloon shape, you: *k2tog, bind off* - meaning that you knit 2 sts together and pass the 2nd st from the right needle over the sts you just knitted together (which you now bind off).

You knit up stitches along the neckline and leg openings to create a thin I-cord edge. At the back of the neck you may choose to either add I-cord straps or buttons. A mini or midi sized bow is worked separately and attached at the end. This decoration is optional.
