If you love beautiful pastel colors, you'll love Sultan Pastello! All the colors belong to a gorgeous light palette. Each skein has an almost magical color variegation, which happens gradually over the total 800 meters of the skein.
Sultan Pastello consists of 100% pure cotton in good quality, so the yarn will be wonderfully soft - even after washing. The yarn is made up of four strands that are not twinned together, which also makes the yarn extra airy. Both knit and crochet projects turn out super soft and have a beautiful drape. Use it for shawls, scarves, a nice blouse, blankets… anything where you want to create beautiful effects with long gradient color changes.
You will need approximately one skein of Sultan to make a shawl or a scarf. The yarn will change color for you, and you decide whether the yarn should change from light to dark or vice versa by simply starting at the outside or the inside of the skein.
Take a look at the whole Sultan family, with lots of exciting color combinations that are just waiting to jump into your next creative project!
Tip: Before using the Sultan skein, run all 4 strands through a small bead, so the strands are aligned throughout the project.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I waited for my top favorite Sultan Pastello color to restock and after a short wait, I was able to get my favorite, "acai". I had already fallen in love with Sultan Shadow, so I knew this would be the same lovely feel and drape. I was of course right! I adore the subtle color changes within the soft color. There is just no other color changing cottons that match the Sultan line, in my opinion.

I made this crop top pattern by Artsy Maki with Sultan Pastello in Raspberry. Like other iterations of Sultan, it is a great, lightweight cotton yarn to work with. Perfect for warm weather garments. Since Sultan is 4 stranded you just have to be extra careful to get all strands on your hook to not create snags or imperfections in your work. The texture is smooth and soft and the colorway is to die for!

Can't say anything bad about it; it's Sultan, with everything you'd expect from it, but with softer colors, and I'm here for it. The only thing I'll say is that it's tricky to use it with Tunisian crochet and fares better (so far) when doing regular crochet work. Still worth every penny though. Just note that the ball band says it's a #2 while the website says it's a #1.

The color is so pretty! The cotton is nice and light for keeping the sun off in warm weather but should work for when it cools off in the evening. It does get tangled easier than i original realized but its easy to fix. I'm making a shawl for my cousins quinceañera and the light pink matches her dress exactly!

I bought a surprise bag of four sultan Pastellos, received four different shades and have made 2 shawls so far. The yarn is super nice to work with, this was my first time using it, I will definitely be back for more. If you have never tried this yarn, do not be afraid to try. Love, love ,love it❤️❤️
