Tweed Delight is a woolen tweed yarn with a classic composition, primarily made from a lovely South American wool, and the pretty tweed flecks from viscose. The yarn is lightly twined with a rustic structure, which makes it nice and soft and creates a beautiful result.

Use Tweed Delight when you want a beautiful, classic look you can stay warm in. It’s ideal e.g. soft sweaters, hats, and scarves.

Enjoy the beautiful play of colors in Tweed Delight. We’ve put extra effort into creating a lovely harmony between the primary color of the yarn and the flecks. Find your favorite among the classic, subdued colors – and the ones covered in a cornucopia of different nuances.

NOTE: Please note that a printing error has occurred on the label: The yarn must be washed by hand and must NOT be machine-washed. We apologize for the inconvenience!

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I'm pretty new to wool-blend yarns (I learnt to crochet on acrylic, and mostly use cotton now), and this is a great transition. I like the texture, its a bit airy and light, yet holds warmth very well. the worsted weight size makes it fast to work up. it's a single ply of yarn, relatively tightly spun so it doesn't feel like roving as much as other single ply yarn, but it does tend to felt itself as you work, which can make it hard to frog. it's surprisingly soft for such a well priced wool yarn, i'm very happy. The dark raspberry color is gorgeous, it's a bright midtone pink, exactly what I hope for from a "raspberry' color, with a rainbow of tweed speckles. most of the speckles are well integrated and make for a cohesive yarn, but i do lose a couple on each skein. overall, great yarn, will buy again

The only cons to this yarn is that it is easily breakable, I wouldn't recommend it for clothing intend to be worn frequently. That being said, it's GORGEOUS! I used it to make decorative pumpkins for fall and I'm so happy with how it turned out. It's not the cheapest of yarns, but I was making the pumpkins as gifts and this yarn was perfect. The pumpkins looked like quality, glamorous decor rather than toys and that's exactly what I was going for. Everyone that received them loved it! So if you're looking for a stunning, rustic type of yarn for decor I couldn't recommend this enough!

I used this yarn for the first time yesterday in the shade Geranium to crochet a twisted ear warmer and it turned out beautifully! It’s so warm, soft, and one skein was the PERFECT amount to make the headband! What I rolled up after was about the size of a ping pong ball. It is a roving style yarn which means it’s a little more delicate but the only time that was an issue for me was when I finish sewing the twist together at the end. Now that I know to be more gentle it shouldn’t be an issue in the future when I make more, because I DEFINITELY will be using this more!

I don't work with animal fiber or blends very often so I was worried about snagging and fraying. However, this yarn worked up easily and beautifully! I didn't encounter any issues making a golf cap for my husband. I bought autumn maple (19). It didn't look like much before it was worked up, but once I started crocheting, the colors became so rich and vibrant that it was like night and day. If I find a project that could use a wool or wool blend, I'll definitely buy this again!

I love this yarn, I've ordered 20+ skeins so far and I just can't stop!! so easy to use and if you have a smooth hook its easy to frog. I had dropped my hook on pavement and scratched it and it kept snagging on the yarn. When I tried to frog it, it was a nightmare. basically woven together. However, when I got my new hook in and finished my project with that one, it was so easy to frog and rework. the colors are so beautiful. The light pink is by far my favorite so far!!
