Manaya is a wonderful wool mix that is nice and warm. The large soft skeins with the finest mottles are in themselves so nice that you almost hardly have the heart to use them.

But when you first get a needle or hook in Manaya, it’s hard to put it down again. As with many color changing yarns, it’s exciting to follow the colors. Knitted or crocheted, the shades merge into each other in beautiful stripes.

A fine South American wool has been used, so Manaya is delightful to use for scarves, hats, ponchos or other cuddly accessories for example.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 1976-294). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

This worked up very nicely into an easy to wear scarf. The fibers do shed a bit, so factor that in if you plan to wear bright colors against dark fabrics. The yarn has a nice springy quality and the colors in colorway 10 are nice and vibrant. Looking forward to my next project with this yarn. It might be a bit itchy for a hat, but could be a nice blanket option.

The yardage is very generous. I'm making the Manaya sweater with an accompanying strand of Alpaca Silk. It's incredibly soft. I'm making an XL sized sweater on size 13 needles and I was able to get the body, collar, & right sleeve done with just one ball of Manaya. I definitely want to do another project with this yarn. Just beautiful!

I am crocheting a sweater with Manaya Cerise, and it is lovely to work with! So soft, and the enormous yardage is wonderful! The colors are brilliant and cheerful; this will be a beautiful sweater for the spring days when winter keeps reminding us that it hasn't quite lost its hold on us.

I'm in the middle of knitting a sweater of my own design in the #5 colorway (navy, mint, purple, forest green) and loving every minute. Lovely drape, dreamy hand, easy to work with and wonderful stitch definition. Can't wait to post a pic of it finished. Couldn't be happier

I like this yarn very much. It is generous in size and the colors are beautiful. It is easy to work with. However, I would say it is closer to a DK/light-worsted size than a worsted size.
