Let the party begin!

Hobbii Carnival is just as colorful as its name, a color explosion of a yarn.

It is carefully created and the clear and gradual color shift is integrated into your project in the most wonderful way. In addition, the strong colors change automatically, so you’ll get nice stripes without having to join loads of ends.

With Carnival, you’ll get a super soft yarn that lasts, besides, it’s easy to handle as it can be machine washed. It’s unbelievably soft, shiny and totally itchfree as it doesn’t contain wool.

Be inspired by the radiant colors, when you knit or crochet Carnival and use it for everything from clothing to interior items. The color palette will only please.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified (no. 2076-311). Find more information about the certification on the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/.

Charlie

I used 3 skeins of the New Orleans color to crochet a triangle shawl for a friend, she's the one who picked out this yarn. This yarn was a DELIGHT to work with purely because of the incredibly vibrant colors. Everytime there was a color change I had a little surge of joy, that's how happy this color changing yarn made me. I found it pretty easy to work with overall. It is a little difficult to frog when you need to go back and fix a mistake cause the yarn is really grabby on itself, but with a little patience and occasional stops to handle a snag I was able to frog what I needed to and the yarn still looked amazing after being restitched. Finished product feels nice on the skin, no itchiness.

I used this yarn to make a throw. It’s fairly light weight but still provides warmth on those chilly fall days. I LOVE the vibrant colors and the gradual color changes. The yarn itself has a slight sheen and is very soft. My son is very sensitive to materials, so this is a big plus for me. It was fairly easy to work with, only having to stop for tangles a couple of times. It does take some patience when frogging stitches as it has a very slight halo that grabs onto itself. That being said, after frogging the yarn still looks beautiful when reworked. I loved it so much I ordered it in a different color for another project.

Lindy

I made the tip to tip shawl in the Copenhagen colour way as my very first crochet shawl/scarf. I absolutely loved the yarn, it was lovely to work with and has a slight sheen to the finished product. It works up into lovely stripes and the Copenhagen looks just devine. I loved working with this yarn so much I have purchased more for when I am a little more experienced to tackle a tricker project. The pattern was easy enough for a beginner like me to follow! Thank you Hobbii for your wonderful range of yarns and patterns.

Lisa

I am using Carnival to make my son a granny square afghan. It as a little hard to work with at first as the yarn is a little stiff and keeps curling. I am a beginner but I got the hang of working with it shortly. I have now done several of my squares and I am in love with how it looks. the color changes blend so well and they are very rich jewel tones. After I finished the first square, I love the look of it. It is so pretty compared to ones I have made with chunky yarns.

Cierra

Purchased 2 skeins of the Tenerife color and made a shawl out of it. The yarn is incredibly soft with a beautiful sheen to it. Easy enough to work with but id recommend balling it before use as it unwinds from the outside and can tangle easily. It pills a lot but i find that charming in my finished work. It splits but if you are careful you can mostly avoid that. Only thing i am disappointed about is the color i got has been sold out for months.
