Currant - Wrist Warmers

MEASUREMENTS

Circumference: 7.1 inches (18 cm)

Length: 8.7 inches (22 cm)

ABOUT THE PATTERN

The wrist warmers are knitted in the round on a circular needle using the magic loop technique.

Rachel

Fun pattern and once you get your rhythm of it. I used cotton and they turned out well. I used a 5 mm instead of the 6 suggested. And the ribbing says P1 k1, but be aware you cast on 33 stitches an odd amount therefor you will start and end in a pearl stitch.

I think I will make them again but in wool to see how they turn out , I used a dahlia and rainbow cotton this time and the stitch work is hard to see. I will try is a solid to make my hard work pop more.

Cathy

This is a charted-only pattern to match the Currant cowl. It uses the same lace design, but you only do 1.5 repeats of the pattern per row, resulting in an asymmetrical design. Also, there is no thumb gusset, only a hole for your thumb. It makes it an easier pattern for a beginner, but those two small details are why I'm only giving this pattern 4 stars.
