I gave 5 stars because I noticed you have to go to the last page of the reviews to see the bad ones. This is the WORST yarn I've ever used, it SMELLS, it feels ROUGH and leaves my fingers feeling gross, trying to make a magic ring is insanely HARD, God forbid you try to pull a knot tight because it's just going to SNAP with the slightest pull, and it SHEDS so so much. I bought so much of this after seeing what looked like mostly good reviews. This yarn is HORRENDOUS. It's like if parfait chunky and big twist posh took all of their worst qualities and made a disgusting yarn baby. I tried so hard to just deal with it but it's genuinely awful 😊

I gave this yarn five stars because I want you to see and read this review! Save yourself the time, money, and aggravation and do not buy this yarn! It’s the worst yarn I have ever used! I make a lot of amigurumi projects and this yarn is impossible to use. It just snaps when even trying to tighten a little bit. It’s a thick yarn and bulks up quickly but the sting it’s on is incredibly weak and breaks with the slightest tension. It may be cheaper than the other brands but it’s not even useable so in the long run it’s a waste of money. Trust me, do yourself a favor and spend your money on a different yarn.

I thought I was taking a risk buying this yarn because there were only a few reviews when I bought it and a couple were pretty negative. But it was on sale and the price was great so I gave it a shot. I had a great experience with this yarn. The colors are very rich, the yarn much more sturdy than I expected. I was careful when frogging and didn't have any problem with that. Minimal shedding, no breaking. I'm THRILLED with the Technicolor Dream Coat (EarthTricks pattern) I created with it. I needed a couple of other colors so I got Baby Snuggle, which I didn't like as much. Toucan is sturdier.

I haven't used this yarn yet, but just by the look, it already makes me want to get it. I watched some reviews to make sure that it is good, and it sounds absolutely amazing yarn! I've been waiting so long to find a good yarn that is cheap and non- shedding or easy to crochet with. I also love that it gives you tips on how to prevent shedding and make it a good experience when crocheting! It looks so soft and perfect for any crochet project! Definitely worth the price!

Received 7 skeins of wonderful orange Toucan yarn. Thought to make a soft comfort garment for my daughter when I ordered these. I started with a 1-skein beanie to look like an orange - she loves it. I was impressed with the quality and durability of the strands - and it is so soft. We are exploring either a sweater or a "bowl" of soft crochet oranges in Toucan yarn for fun. Creative possibilities are endless! Great quality at great price!
