Honey Bunny Shine is a super bulky velour yarn made out of 100% polyester with a sprinkle of tiny glitters to it. The thin glittery strands are very subtle and blend seamlessly in the structure of the chenille yarn. This yarn is so soft that the glitter can hardly be felt, so feel free to use it for garments/toys for children as well.
It can be both knitted, using 6 mm (US 10) knitting needles, or crocheted with a 7 mm (US K-10.5) hook and will be ideal for tight and easy types of stitches. The color palette is varied with both subdued and bright colors for you to choose from.
This chunky chenille yarn can be turned into a lovely sparkly garment: sweaters, cardigans, beanies, and scarves, just to name a few, as well as home decor projects such as cuddly pillow covers, blankets, and comfy poufs. Anything that could use a playful yet eye-catching touch to it.

I got the chance to try out Honey Bunny Shine when it was included in the 2023 Crochet Advent kit, and it was easily my favorite part of the whole advent experience. It's soft and the subtlety of the sparkles is perfect; they don't disrupt the texture at all. My only complaint is that I really wouldn't consider this yarn a "super bulky" (weight 6). It's not as thin as Baby Snuggle, but I would still place it somewhere between "bulky" (5) and "super bulky" (6). Otherwise, a fantastic chenille option!

This yarn has all the softness of the regular Honey Bunny with a little extra sparkle! I was really worried that the shine would be scratchy, but it really is still super soft. When going to working with the shine after regular Honey Bunny I can feel a difference in the texture, with shine being a little more stiff with the glitter. However, the shine is still soft enough for a baby to be as obsessed as I am. I am making a blanket for my niece out of the shine and both she and her mom said it was the perfect amount of softness!

Very soft and the color is beautiful. It is not as soft as the baby snuggle yarn that is very similar. I am not sure if it is the sparkle or if the honey bunny isn't as soft as the baby snuggle. The sparkle is not itchy and I am making 2 hexagon cardigans for my nieces. Follow the Directions provided by HobbiI and melt the ends with the lighter so you don't pull the fuzz off the center strand.

Love this yarn 🧶. OMG the shimmer,the shine,the FEELING out it is out of this world. The coziness of this makes me want to make MORE of anything. I think this could be my new favorite yarn. Everyone loves how it feels. And kids adore the glittery shimmer. Even my 11 year old wants to make more things. She used it last night and made this adorable bumblebee 🐝

So cute ! I was scared the shine would be overpowering but really it’s not ! You can definitely see there’s a shine but it’s a bit discrete! Perfect for what I wanted . It’s just as soft and pretty as the normal honey bunny yarn ! I’m so happy I got it !
