Manarola is a soft yarn with beautiful and clear colors. The fine, silk-sheen acrylic is loosely spun, but wonderfully easy to work with.

The fascinating color changes in Manarola look great in many knitted and crocheted projects and is, therefore, an obvious choice for shawls and scarves, where the color shift can really stand out.

The gradual color shift is exciting to knit and crochet, however, be aware that it also leads to the skeins appearing differently.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I have used Manarola yarn twice now and it doesn’t disappoint. The first blanket (pattern Ancient Stories) was made with No. 03. I was very happy with my choice. Even washes well. Somebody asked if my blanket was made with silk yarn because of the shine. I’ve just made a second blanket with the Manarola. This time No. 02. The colourful skeins remind me so much of beautiful gemstones. Now I have nearly four skeins of 02 eft over. Thinking of a nice, shiny colourful scarf. Then, have to plan more blankets for family birthdays.

I don't usually like acrylic, but this yarn is so very silky! It looks very much like wool and my sensitive skin is okay with it. It slide over aluminum hooks like a dream. It was tough to frog, but at least it was possible!! And you could never tell that I had frogged the majority of the poncho I made with this. The color changes are seamless and less frequent, allowing for striping in larger garments, which I appreciate!

Morgan

This might be the prettiest yarn I've ever crocheted with. It's so soft and the colors are GORGEOUS! I've been using it for hats and the self-striping is just perfect. The only thing I don't love about the yarn is that the little fibers get stuck together so if you make a mistake it's near impossible to frog out. So not a very forgiving yarn if it's a new pattern you're playing with. But still so pretty and so soft!

I bought manarola yarn, color mattina (07). The yarn was really soft. I really like the color combination of this yarn. I made a scarf using the Tip to Tip Shawl pattern. It's pretty - just bigger and heavier than I would like. The yarn would be beautiful in an afghan/couch blanket. Something to think about for a future project with this yarn. Would highly recommend this yarn.

Mary

Love this yarn. I'm making an afghan for my granddaughter with Rainbow. I love the colors, want to keep it for myself. During the holidays. I had trouble with the shipping. The fault was with the carrier, UPS. I immediately contacted Hobbii by email and my issues were resolved within days. Customer service is great. I have loved the yarn I've purchased and love this company
