I've been a huge fan of Toucan yarn and the other chenille velvet yarns (Baby Snuggle, Honey Bunny) since trying them...and I'm SO excited that there's now a medium weight version of this velvety yarn!! I've enjoyed working with it on amigurumi using a smaller hook (3.25mm) as opposed to a 5mm hook for the super bulky weights. My Toucan Fine amigurumi all come out super plush and they also look really delicate! I can add more detail to them since the yarn weight is thinner. Really happy with this new line of yarn!! Can't wait for more colors to come out...fingers crossed that there will be more.

Beautiful colors, so soft. I crocheted a granny square baby blanket without the yarn breaking. It took me a try or two to get used to this yarn because of the velvety texture, but using a 6.5mm has been great. Only downside is it does shed little pieces of velvet while working with it. Very comparable to other velvet brands I’ve tried.

I absolutely love the new toucan fine yarn! It is perfect for detailed amigurumi projects and I love how small my regular projects turn out when using this yarn. There is minimal shedding and it works up so smoothly - comparable to the Toucan line. Highly recommend for anyone who loves amigurumi

A great thin chenillle yarn! For the fans of Joann’s Big Twist Posh - this is a great replacement that has many color options. It feels like a mix of a chenille yarn and a blanket yarn.

I love this yarn! It's the medium between chenile yarn and cotton yarn. A bit bigger than velvet yarn. Love the feel and touch.
I will say though that it shreds a lot compared to some!
But I was able to frog a few rnds without major issue (less easily than with the honey bunny for example)
Over all, a great yarn if you want the shiny aspect of velvet yarn and the soft touch of chenile yarn!
