Easy Care Big is yet another delicious, classic wool yarn in 100% merino wool from the Danish yarn manufacturer Mayflower. As the name suggests, the yarn is thicker than the other two yarns of the series - Easy Care and Easy Care Classic. However, the yarn is just as soft as the other two yarns in the series, it's also itch-free as well as comfortable to knit. The color pallet is impressively wide and spans from downtoned colors to bright and frisky ones - needless to say, there is definitely a color for your project.

In addition to being extremely comfortable against the skin, the wool is superwash-treated, making it very useful for everyday use, especially for baby and children's wear, as it can withstand wool washing in the machine at 40°C (104°F) and tumble dry at low temperatures. Moreover, this edition, Easy Care Big, is so thick that you will be able to quickly complete your projects.

I've made 3 different neck warmers for my father with this wool, one with a single strand, one double stranded and third with three strands so that he can have different levels of warmth. The wool is so soft and a pleasure to work with and most importantly my father wears them nearly every day from early fall all the way through to spring

I used this yarn to make beanies and it was really nice! However, I want to say that you need 3 skeins to finish an adult size one. I did notice knots in my yarn (connecting pieces of yarn) but it was fine since I could just weave in the ends. I haven't worn the beanies yet, so I'm not sure how it feels on the skin but I have high hopes!

I was a little scared to be working with wool because of how scratchy it can get, but this merino is so soft and gorgeous! I ordered two skeins to make a beanie, and only ended up needing one and a little bit, so I'm excited to see what I can do with the leftovers!

This is a beautiful Merino yarn and I would absolutely use it again. It was high quality. No knots or flaws. Although it is worsted it felt like a thin worsted weight. This was my first Hobbii purchase and it did not disappoint!

I've never worked with 100% wool before and this yarn was a delight to work with. I made a baby blanket with it that just needs blocking now. Worth the price for how soft and easy to work with it's been. I'm glad I ordered extra.
