If you haven’t tried bamboo yarn yet, then now is the time to go for it!
New Arezzo from Hjertegarn is a wonderful blend of yarn, which contains 47% bamboo, 33% linen, and 20% cotton. If you haven’t tried working with bamboo before, then now is the time to jump into it. This blend has many wonderful attributes, making this yarn both wonderfully soft and incredibly light.
We recommend New Arezzo for large blankets or sweaters and cardigans. It is available in 20 lovely colors - so there must be something to suit your fancy.
Hjertegarn is one of the pioneers of yarn in Denmark. Their family business started in 1926 and their philosophy is to sell yarn at reasonable prices accessible to everyone. As they put it: "Knitting is a hobby and a way to find peace and contemplation, which can be incorporated into a busy everyday life, as it only requires some knitting needles, a pattern, and some yarn." And we could not agree more here at Hobbii.

MUCH prettier in person than on screen. I was really excited to see a bamboo/ linen blend that was 1/3 linen and opted to try the one color that looked good on my screen—and I’m very glad I chanced it. The product photos don’t do the yarn any favors so you might want to check project photos on Ravelry for more accurate colors. It’s definitely worth the effort, though, the swatch is gorgeous and I can’t pick a pattern… so I’m ordering more!

Just made a pair of shorts with this yarn and I am very pleased with the result! I had my doubts while i was knitting it up but once I blocked the project, the tension looked magnificent. I would only use this yarn for a drapey, loose project; nothing with negative ease. Due to the plant fiber content I would take it easy on the hands when working up a project with this. Also, be mindful that this yarn has a pretty lustrous sheen.

Love this yarn. The only negative point is that it looks like it is not getting restocked. But so many positive things to tell about. The yarn is wonderfully soft not dry and not crunchy. The colors are absolutely stunning. I knitted first time last summer with this yarn and have worn and washed it a lot. Other than slight stretching of the neckline it looks like day one. Please bring more colors 🥰🙏🙏

Beautiful colors, beautiful sheen, beautiful yarn! I held it double to make a worsted sweater but it's still light and airy. The drape is to die for and it feels smooth and silky. As someone who doesn't like the way linen crumples, I've found a new favorite fiber for summer projects.

Lovely drape and color! It is a quite thin sport weight, I guess I would personally label it fingering, but that's so subjective. The dark orange color is actually quite vibrant and glowy, so don't select it if you are looking for a more muted/neutral orange.
