Very easy pattern, I have been crocheting 3 months. The stitch is perfect for a dishcloth. I used Cotton Kings Cone 500 8/4 in Spring Vibe Color #20. I used a 3.25 mm hook but may try my next one with a 3.0 mm hook or 2.75mm. The Cotton Kings Cone 8/4 is great for dishcloth with you don not want a heavy cloth. I am going to do in other colors of the 8/4 cone.

The pattern is easy to follow but it takes a little longer to make then plain sc or kitted dishcloth. The payoff is that it looks much more interesting.
