Crochet a t-shirt in happy summer colors. For this model, which is worked top down in classic Granny Stripes, 9 different colors have been used. The Guage on this makes no sense to me. I tried working the Guage using clusters of three double crochet, like the main body of the pattern, but couldn't get anywhere near 20 clusters and 23 rows in a 10x10 cm square. I decided maybe it meant using this yarn to do single crochet... too many stitches to get to 10cm. Double crochet, same problem and again, can't get anywhere near 23 rows into 10 cm. I tried to make it anyway, and my 2x sweater is more like a medium. The Guage makes no sense, and even without it, the stitch count must be off or your stitches are giganticbecause that is a 4 size difference even if I keep my stitches as loos as possible.

This pattern is not clearly written. Part of the issue comes from how the pattern is formatted, but it is also written in a very confusing way.
