PATTERN INFORMATION
PaiMuTan is light and delicate, with a soft touch and elegant fragrance. Here’s a blanket that will warm you like a nice cup of white tea! This is not a beginners’ pattern, but I’ve tried to add as much detail as possible and step-by-step pictures for every round. Keeping the stitch count is really important with this kind of project, so I’ve added the stitch count to every round as well.

I love all the patterns that Red Teapot Atelier makes, but I had to get this one first. The pattern is really easy to follow, as it's a lot of repeating multiple rows. Red Teapot has tutorials for stitches at the beginning, before the pattern starts, that might be new to some. This is really really helpful. Also, for each row, there's a picture of what it looks like, so you know your doing it right. I love that I'm able to make the blanket larger, or smaller, because of the repetition of the rows. I'll be using rainbow and friends cotton 8/4 for this, as I want to make sure the blanket is comfy for hot weather. I'm sure I'll have no problem, though, as I'm used to using yarns different than what is suggested. So far this is looking really really pretty. I'm way too excited to see it finished!!
