DarjeelingTea - Shawl
MEASUREMENTS
Width: 180 cm / 71”
Length: 90 cm / 35.5”
PATTERN INFORMATION
If you like long, rainy afternoons of tea and crochet, this is your shawl. It naturally came to my mind from the parts of the PuErhTea shawl that I like most. I hope you like it too!
This is not a beginners pattern, but I’ve tried to add as much detail as possible and step-by-step pictures for every row. Keeping the stitch count is really important with this kind of project, so I’ve added the stitch count to every row as well.
Please note: This pattern is bought as a downloadable PDF. It’s not sent as a physical product.
Here you can easily and quickly buy everything needed for this pattern.

This shawl was a pure pleasure to crochet. I used the yarn pictured and it looks amazing! The pattern was well written and charted (I'm a chart crocheter) with clear photos to compare your work for affirmation that you are doing it correctly. Don't be intimidated by the fine thread size as it works up quickly and draws you in with each row ad color change. I will gift it to a charity auction and can't wait to make another from this pattern designer. I think "Jasmine Tea" is next.

Fantastic pattern, well written and easy enough to follow - i didn’t have any issues. I absolutely love this pattern and will definitely make it again. I have made a few shawls by this designer now and they have all turned out very well and I’ve been incredibly proud and feel very accomplished!
Sultan shadow - black olive
3.5mm hook, went down for final 5 or so rows to 3mm and 2.5mm
Additional yarn required for final 2.5 rows

I love all of her patterns! She is easy to reach if you ever have questions and loves to see our results and choices of colors for her patterns. I would recommend any pattern she puts out if you like geometric, repeating rows with texture. The combo of words, pictures and diagrams never fails to ensure I can make the pattern without pulling my hair out.

Lovely easy pattern to read and follow. Very easy to work up and is a stunning pattern. I used a sultan cake and I did add an extra Victorian repeat to use all the yarn up. Would definitely make it again.

Redteapot provides hands down the best pattern ever. It has a written step, pictures and a diagram for each row. And!!! A stick count row by row. I'm a fan of this designer.
