PATTERN INFORMATION
The main parts of the pattern are worked in a continuous spiral in the amigurumi style, with the “x” single crochet (yarn under, yarn over). This creates a stitch that looks like an “x” and also affects the twisting of the continuous spiral.
The mermaid is worked from the bottom up, from the fins to the head, all in one piece. The arms are attached as you crochet. This pattern has minimal sewing involved making it fun and quick to finish. Details are done with embroidery, and the highlight of the design is the curly hair achieved by splitting the Amigo Giga yarn.
