Let your creativity flow with Sultan Solid: a stunning cotton cake yarn that brings soft texture and rich, even colour to every stitch.
Sultan Solid is made from 100% pure, soft cotton and features the same unique construction of 4 untwisted strands as the original Sultan.
Sultan Solid comes in a single, uniform colour throughout the entire cake. Perfect for when you want a consistent look or a solid base. It is also the perfect companion to the gradient Sultan cakes: use it for borders, sleeves, accents, or to extend a project if you run out of a matching colour. The shades have been carefully selected to coordinate beautifully with the original Sultan range.
The colour palette covers all the essentials: from soft pastels and elegant neutrals to more vivid and playful tones. Whether used on its own or paired with a gradient cake, Sultan Solid offers endless versatility and creative potential.
Its construction gives the yarn a light, airy drape and makes it especially suited for projects where flow and movement matter. Such as shawls, afghans, baby blankets, and summery garments. With a generous 800 metres per 200-gram cake, most shawls and scarves can be completed with just one cake. It is a perfect match for those who love large, continuous pieces with minimal ends to weave in.
Sultan Solid is your go-to yarn for elegant, seamless colourwork or refined standalone pieces with a smooth, beautiful finish.
Pro tip: Before you start working on the Sultan Solid cake, run all 4 treads through a small bead to help the threads stay together throughout the project. If you like to start working with the cake from the center, make sure to put something in the middle so that the cake does not collapse on itself.
NB: We have done our utmost to match Sultan Solid and Sultan. Still, there might be very slight differences. Even though Sultan Solid comes in solid colors, knots might still occur due to the nature of the fibers it is made out of.

I bought two cakes of color 15 (light blue) to make a jacket for myself. The monitor made it seem like a pale, Alice in Wonderland-esque blue but in person it is a little more glacier. Not a deal breaker for me, but just something to keep in mind! The yarn itself is wonderfully soft, though for some reason both of my cakes did not come with the 'Easy Start' sticker in the center to make things easier. I was able to find them with no issue and chalked it up to a goof at the production facility, but do be careful!

Just got my first order today and I am very happy I was wrong. I hate any yarn that comes without being twisted together as I always struggle with it. I was waiting for these to arrive to start the curtains I am doing to match the blanket and cushion done with Sultan deluxe Andamooka Opal. They are not the exact same colors but close enough to match. Well, it not as hard to work as I was expecting and I love the texture. The colors are exactly the same as shown. First purchase of many for me

I purchased two colors, 13 and 22, which look great together. Colors are as pictured and the cotton feels nice but I didn't really expect the untwisted strands. It was honestly better than I thought it would be after I got through 5 or so rows. I'm crocheting with a 4mm tunisian hook and it makes a beautiful fabric. I also haven't encountered any knots or breaks in any strands, so maybe there was a quality control issue in the past. I'll probably get more of this yarn for future projects.

I am absolutely loving that Hobbii offers a solid option in this specific yarn! I needed some solid black to finish the boarder of my Granny Square Cardigan and this was the best/only option. It is ever so slightly lighter black than the Azaela Aurore colorway that I got but you cant really tell and its expected to have slightly different shades between lot dyes.

The black seems to be extra stretchy and soft compared to the other colors I have encountered in their mixed cakes, but that's easily accounted for by changing a hook size. I wish these came in all the colors that Sultan has in their mixed cakes. It would be so much fun to mix and match myself!
