Mayflower Molly Fine is a yarn-quality Mayflower created in cooperation with Molly Egelind. She wanted a relatively thick wool yarn that was also airy. It enables you to knit, e.g., chunky sweaters with great structure without the sweater becoming heavy. Molly Fine is made from 100% lightly spun wool, which helps the yarn keep its airiness and warmth – both before and after it’s been knit. It’s easy and relatively fast to knit with Mayflower Molly Fine. The qualities of the yarn really shine when knit on size 10 or 11 needles, which means you can knit a lovely sweater very fast. The results are stunning because the airiness of the yarn lets the individual stitches sit nicely and evenly next to each other.

Mayflower Fine is available in a selection of beautiful colors chosen by Molly Egelind. She’s gone for timeless classics that are beautiful and will never go out of style. Molly really made an effort when she chose the colors, and that made it easy to find colors that would look great together. Alternatively, you could also knit with just one color. You can use Molly Fine for both clothing and interiors. Hats, sweaters, cardigans, pillows, blankets, etc. The sky’s the limit.

Mayflower Molly Fine is made from 100% lightly spun wool and has a running length of 147 yards per 1.8 ounces. Must be hand-washed, dry flat. Because of its “unspun nature,” it cannot handle a spin cycle, since it will felt.

I bought this in Zinfandel (gorgeous color) to crochet a cardigan for a present - was really easy to work with (especially for a beginner) and I really enjoyed the way it felt in my hands. I ended up buying it in other colors because I liked it so much, and can't wait to make another project with it!

This yarn is such a joy to work with! I've been knitting a cardigan in the gorgeous Burnt Sienna colorway, and it's been flying off my needles. This yarn is soft, doesn't feel itchy against my skin, and has great stitch definition thanks to the lightly spun/roving nature of it. Highly recommend!

I just bought this yarn for the first time and I love it. I got 05 Zinfandel and it is lovely. It is so soft and it’s working up beautifully. I will definitely be buying this yarn for my next project.
Thank you Hobbii for the beautiful yarn and great price!

Alex

Bought this for my first project with a natural fibre, and I think I may be fully converted from acrylic! It is incredibly soft and plush, not itchy at all. Making a crochet granny square cardigan, and it's working up so quickly!

This is wonderful yarn! The softest wool i've ever touched, and a delight to work with. I did vastly underestimate how much yarn it would take to knot a blanket, but that's on me, not the yarn 😅
