This yarn is in a class of its own! Cocktail Deluxe from Go Handmade is a really wonderful glitter yarn, which is a pleasure to work with. It is useful as a delicate detail in knitted projects, but it can also be used for entire projects on its own. For example, it would look incredibly beautiful if you used Cocktail Deluxe for hand crocheted Christmas tree decorations such as lovely drums, stars or hearts.

The thread is spun like a chain and extremely easy to both knit and crochet with. And at the same time it is nice and soft to work with.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 22.HCN.95901). Find more information about the certification at the https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This one ended up being not right for the project I had in mind, but I do think it's beautiful and already have some ideas for how to incorporate it into other pieces. It's a bit stretchy and threads easily, so be careful with that while working with it, but it's otherwise easy and fun to work with.

Bought this yarn to pair with a worsted weight yarn, making blankets as wedding presents, and this yarn was perfect!!! Just fine enough that it doesn’t affect the pattern/weight for the overall project, but definitely noticeable and is the perfect compliment.

Lisa

This cocktail scarf turned out stunning. I found the yarn did want to catch on my winter fingers but nothing a manicure with rich handcream couldn't sort it. I used a different silver yarn ( flash it ) for the tassels .

Julie

I bought 12 balls and made a shawl. Came out gorgeous! Yes, it unravels, but that's nothing a lighter (flame) can't fix. Just be careful, it is polyester. But really, it was very nice to work with.

Jessica

I bught this as a recommendation for a Christmas ornament pattern and all I can say is I’ve fallen in love! Sometimes it does snag but it’s easy to work around and I haven’t gotten it tangled yet
