Being new to crochet (started in March 2024), this was my first wearable project. I found the pattern very easy to follow. This was a fun and easy item to make. I used Friends 8/8 yarn in ecru and trimmed the bottom two rows in white, as I didn't think I had enough yarn to complete it with the 2 skeins of ecru. I highly recommend this for beginners.

This is The Best Bucket Hat pattern out there, I've tried many. This doesn't give you a floppy brim, it is pretty firm and stays put if you use a standard cotton#4 yarn. I've made ten hats with this pattern, and it's easy to adjust size, colour etc. Love it.

this is super cute !! i’ve made 2 with this pattern for me and my friend and they fit super nice. i also like how they offer different sizes so almost anyone can use this pattern

The pattern is easy and it looks great but the larvae is too snug for an adult unless you have a very small head. I have made each on my grandchildren one and they look great!

I rate myself as having intermediate skill (ie: I do rectangles really well!), but I had no issues following this pattern and creating a very nice hat!
