Twister Solid is the solid counterpart of our Twister, bringing endless possibilities.
With its composition of 55% cotton and 45% acrylic, we blended the softness and breathability of the first, together with the strength and color retention of the latter. Your finished creations will be, comfortable, durable, and lightweight.
Its vibrant and extensive color palette matches the Twister one, making it easy to prolong the color transitions of Twister as well as create matching edges and accents. Of course, it can also be worked on its own both double or single thread.
Twister Solid is highly flexible and works well with a range of needle and hook sizes. You can scale down by half for a tighter effect or up for a lighter, airier one. We always recommend you swatch the yarn to make sure you achieve the desired look.
Twister Solid is machine washable and its versatility will allow you to create garments for adults and children, accessories, and home accessories.

Such lovely yarns, very soft !! I ordered some of the Twister Solids to edge the Big Twister yarn colors. I really appreciated the fact that they showed the color compatability using the twister solids with the bigger twister yarn. I'm making a few of the granny cardigans in various colors...I got the pattern on Hobbii's site..under pattern suggestions for the Twister yarn ..very easy and fast pattern and should be very cute when I get finished... I'm making cardigans for both my Aunt and cousin to take and wear this September when they take a trip to Ireland, and one for my Dad's wife to throw on , and lastly I will also make one for myself !! Very happy with the drape and softness of this yarn... I love the solid colors too..I got the dark grey, black, and lilac colors... So very pleased with this yarn, and the customer service will definitely buy again and again from Hobbii !! Lovely yarns !!

Just got a chance to place a review on my order. So pretty a while ago I ordered this yarn in charcoal color. Color is matching the picture for 90% and I loved it. It was perfect for my project, and exactly what I was looking for.
So this yarn is not changing the gauge after washing (but keep by the direction, according to the type of yarn!)
It’s nice to the skin, feels so soft and doesn’t loose the color after washing. I wouldn’t recommend to dry it in the drying machine, to not damage project you’ve made.
I wanna mention my especial thank to the Hobbii team! On the way of delivery, my package was damaged and one ball was missing. Custom service sorted this situation out in less than a week. Thank you guys for the wonderful service you provide ❤️

This yarn is great! Using it to make summer shrugs of varying colors. The cotton is very silky and slides right over aluminum hooks. It isn't very tightly wound which causes the 4 strands to split when inserting the hook. However, winding the yarn any tighter would reduce the squishiness and make it more of a crochet thread. The description says sport, but it's on the thinner end of sport. It's perfect for shrugs: lightweight, breathable, soft. It's even making a lacy shawl very well. The unique stitches are easy to pick out, even in monochrome. Love working with this stuff and the range of colors allows for my fascination with gradient shawls/garments these days.

I'm using this yarn to make summer shrugs. The drape is very important in this pattern and the silky cotton of Twister Solid is just perfect. It's breathable and not too heavy. The yarn itself takes a little getting used to as the threads are not tightly spun like I'm used to, but I think if it were more tightly spun, it wouldn't be as squishy. They have the yarn tagged as sport, but it's a bit thin for sport. I got about 18 WPI, but it works perfectly as a fingering yarn. I'm also making a lacy shawl out of the yarn and it holds the shapes of that pattern very well. The color selection is wide and allows for my crazy gradient shawls I love to make.
