I am in love with this cotton yarn! I didn't really think cotton yarn could be soft but once I felt the Rainbow Cotton 8/4, I was pleasantly surprised! The colors are just gorgeous and pretty accurate to the picture. So far, I have only worked up a sample swatch of the blanket I am planning on making with it. I have already frogged a couple colors and it has stayed perfect for me to work it up again. The softness of this yarn make it a pleasure to work with. I fell in love with HanJan's Rainbow Splash Mosaic Crochet Blanket and due to the amount of colors, this Rainbow yarn will be just perfect because it comes in so many!! I have already made two orders(currently waiting for my 2nd) but I'm really hoping some of the out of stock colors come back soon! I just want them all!!

TL;DR: 10/10 would recommend.
This is by far the softest cotton yarn I’ve worked with!! It’s smooth to work with and doesn’t stick on the hook or to itself like other yarns I’ve tried (ahem, Lily Sugar ‘n Cream and to a lesser extent Lion Brand 24/7). The small size makes for garments that drape beautifully, and holding two (or more) strands together allows you to easily bulk up any project. I used a smaller hook size than recommended, even for doubling up, and I like the gauge that gives me better than the sizes suggested on the little skeins, but ymmv.
My projects are SO soft and comfy, I can’t stop touching them haha. And the colors are gorgeous, so I can’t stop looking at them either! I’m totally hooked, and I’m sure you will be too.

I really like this yarn so far, it's much easier for me to crochet with than other cotton ones. I just feel like I struggle less with this and it makes the process more enjoyable for me. I also like that this feels softer and not as rough as other cotton yarns. I noticed this most when I felt the finished patterned comparing to my other cotton patterns. I also noticed this yarn gets less fuzzy than other cotton ones. The easy start tab was a nice touch to this and helps very much with using the new yarn, and its great cause since its pulling string from the center, you can leave the label on the yarn so you know the information for it. I am glad I took a chance and tried this, as I usually wouldn't want to get a yarn until I've seen it in person.

What can I say, it's great yarn! I've been using it for mosaic crochet and for knitting garments and it's really easy to work with. I haven't had any issues with knots and stuff in the yarn, though I will mention that every once in a while I'll come across a more bumpy section but it evens off quickly.
It's pretty soft for cotton yarn and the color variety is incredible. It's pretty versatile and can also hold its shape pretty well if you use smaller needles, as the recommended needle size gives it a drapey effect.
I don't usually work with thinner yarns cause it's killer for my hands, but this one flows really nicely on my needles so I've been having a much easier time that usual.

As a first time purchaser from Hobbii, I had no idea what to expect. I was definitely intrigued by the bargain price of this cotton yarn, and the reviews were great, but I’ve been misled many times, before. This was not one of those times!! I was so pleased by the low shipping cost (most shipping from Europe is over $20 USD), and was even happier when my order came quickly! The yarn completely exceeds my expectations. It is incredibly soft, easy to work with, and even has an “easy start” tab attached to the center-pull end!! I mean, you had me at $9.99 shipping, but details like that make me a loyal customer for life. Thank you so much from an overjoyed new customer!!
