Happy Place Solid is the outcome of the joyful collaboration between Hobbii and the one and only self-proclaimed Yarn Snob: Toni Lipsey of TL Yarn Crafts.

This yarn is a blissful combination of 50% cotton and 50% wool, making this yarn perfectly balanced in its softness, strength, and warmth.

Happy Place Solid embodies Toni’s lighthearted, playful, and cozy spirit with a vast array of neutral, bright, and deep colors, some of which are gently mottled.

It is incredibly soft and easy to take care of, hence you can wear it on your skin and also use it for baby garments. With Happy Place Solid you will be able to craft clothing, accessories, blankets, and fun home decor creations that are suitable for all seasons. It provides a clear stitch definition and a lofty texture that will result in an amazingly lightweight creation.

Happy Place Solid is all about that special space of tranquillity and joy where our imagination flows freely.

The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

I love Happy Place. Re: splitting - I’m wondering if those having problems are pulling from the center. These donuts seem to work best when used from the outside. The only one I’m having a problem with is Blueberry Melange which I caked up and am using the cake from the outside (so the yarn that was on the inside of the donut. The yarn is so unbelievably soft and not fuzzy at all. I haven’t washed it yet but I have steam blocked it which makes the fibers plump perfectly and fill the gaps in the stitches (I’m using C2C) and drapes wonderfully. I think I’m an acrylic convert. My one word of advice to Hobbii is to change the labels. I keep all my labels with my yarn and the only way to do that with these is to roll them up and put them inside the donuts. I also received many with the labels already ripped because of the design. Otherwise, perfect yarn for blankets and garments. Thanks, Toni and Hobbii!

I don't usually write reviews unless I'm A - super happy with something, and cannot stop talking about it. B - unhappy with something and feel I have to warn other buyers. Well this is a A case for sure, I am in love with this yarn!!! It's soft, beautiful, a joy to work with. I got quite a stash but still feel I am missing and might need more. The only sad thing is that most of my favorite colours are now sold out. But since all the colours are gorgeous, I might just have to come up with a new color palette. Be sure to check the yards you’ll need for your project before you buy, to be sure you won’t have to wait to finish your project for the restock 😉 (looking at you Aubergine cardi lol)

Just received Happy Place in the mail, and holy cannoli this yarn is good. I ordered the colorway Aqua and immediately cast on a Sophie Scarf to test it out. Like knitting with butter. The color is super pigmented, like a piece of turquoise. I've been relying on Toni's yarn snob reviews for years, and you can tell she's learned a lot about luxurious yarn construction. Would love to see an expansion of color offerings (black, charcoal, a darker teal, deeper greens, burgundy, etc.). Overall, amazing job Toni and Hobbii! Totally plan to order more Happy Place once some colorways are back in stock.

I just started working up a sweater in this delicious yarn. I love it so much! It's very soft and feels nice while I'm working with it and I can tell the drape is going to be fantastic! One thing I would say is that the "pumpkin" is a great color but I think of it as more of a "tangerine". It seems brighter and more citrussy than what I think of when I hear the word "pumpkin". Not an issue for me at all, but for those of you who think it's going to be a more "fall" color, I'd caution you that it feels more "summer" to me.

I got 24 balls of Happy Place yarn. They are soft in touch, the coulours are really really rich, let me tell y'all that the Red Delicious is DE-LI-CIOUS to see. You get an assemble of differents coulours as red and green in a ball, you must have it to understand, my only cons, but really minor is tgat if you have a lot of tension, use bigger hooks otherwise the plies will dissociate, but Toni, we need moooooore of your creativity ( like black, chocolate, coffee and cream, lol :) ) Appreciate the yarns everybody !!!
