Giant Pacific Octopus
MEASUREMENTS
Height: Approx. 30.5 cm / 12”
Width across arms: Approx. 112 cm / 34’’
PATTERN INFORMATION
This pattern is considered intermediate to advanced. Features textured stitches to create the illusion of the arm of an octopus. It utilises crocheted short rows to create a curved shape in your amigurumi. This is achieved by working a small portion of the given row and turning for a couple rows until you are back in line. Within this pattern, there is a photo guide to help with the short rows including different colors to highlight each row. If you want the arms of your octopus to have some shape, you can experiment with adding wire!
Please note: This pattern is bought as a downloadable PDF. It’s not sent as a physical product.

Such a beautiful pattern I absolutely love how mine came out!!

The eyelid part of the pattern doesn't make sense. I asked for clarification but haven't received it. I guess I will be writing my own directions.
When making the legs, the pattern reads "about 50 stitches" and then "to keep things even, increase..." Stitch counts need to be precise.
I am an experienced at crocheting and have written a few patterns. This pattern doesn't have to be this difficult to understand.
