This Stellar Essential set is an interchangeable circular needle set with short tips. As with our other Stellar sets, this set is for crafters searching for quality, lightness, and a new-found joy of knitting. The set includes, as the name suggests, the most popular interchangeable knitting needle sizes ranging from 3,5 mm to 6 mm (US 4 to 10).... (and the sizes are laserprinted on the needles for long-lasting, easy reference). The needles are short, making them the perfect tool for children’s sweaters, hats, sleeves, and the necklines of your own sweaters. With a length of 8,5 cm (3,3 in), they fit perfectly with 40 and 50-cm cables (15,7 and 19,7 in cables).
The needles are made of lightweight aluminum, making them strong, smooth, and light! The intense amethyst color enhances the gorgeous metallic look of the needles, and the smooth surface makes for easy knitting with all types of yarn. The needles are pleasant to the touch and rest comfortably in your hands. The needles are also perfectly tapered, ideal for all types of yarn, and have smooth joins between the needles and the black Swivel cables.
Swivel cables with 360° rotation
Stellar contains sturdy cables with flexible jointsl allowing for 360° rotation between needle and cable. The rotatable joints will not twist. The cables are memory-free, will not snap, and made of stainless steel coated in black nylon.

I got this as my first set of interchangeable needles after learning how to knit and it was a great choice! I have decently small hands so the shorter needles were comfortable, the finish is very smooth, and the inclusion of swivel cables was great! The larger needles are a little less pointy than the smaller ones which might be a problem with splitty yarns, but otherwise I've had no issues. I do also wish the cables came in 4 unique sizes rather than 2 of each 16 and 20 inch cables, but the needles being compatible with Knitter's Pride and Knitpro (as well as Knitpicks!) cables means its easy to supplement whatever you need.

I got this set because I don't always want to switch to dpns for sleeves and children's clothes and I've had so much fun with these purple needles! They are light and easy to work with for hours. The tips aren't super sharp but the metal glides nicely and keeps me knitting quickly without splitting the yarn. The purple color is really fun to work with as well :)
