These square Cubics needles have a beautiful, lavender color and matte golden connectors, making them both beautiful and a joy to work with. The ergonomic shape is designed to sit comfortably in your hand while you work and is also a visual treat. The J'adore needles are made of beautifully polished birch combined with smooth connectors that ensure hours of effortless knitting.

The angular needles work well with all yarn types and can be used for any project. They are also a good fit for beginners and people with arthritis since the ergonomic shape ensures a firm grip.

The needle's size is easily measured on a regular needle gauge. Just measure diagonally from corner to corner.

The sizes are also laser-printed on the transitions.

I bought these to go with my J'Adore Mother's Day set. The name- “I love”- is apt: I LOVE these. They're deep indigo-charcoal in color, not vivid purple in the photos. The joins are flush and smooth on both nylon and swivel cables. This is a delight!

The ink on these is gold, large, and legible. It matches the connectors. The J'adore zip-up-case set has the same ink; the Mother's Day set doesn't. The connectors are etched too. The step-up on the needles does not bother me.

Know that cubic needles act like one size smaller than they are listed- ex: US7 acts like US6. Adjust your sizes up or down when swatching to suit your personal tension. I had no issues. Cubic needles make very uniform stitches, and are easier for folks with hand/wrist/elbow problems. The birch wood is a delight. Treat your needles gently and they will serve you for many years to come.
