Universe XL Halloween came right over from the dark side! An eerily beautiful addition to our popular Universe family. The usual, harmonious colors have been replaced by thrillingly vibrant colors, oozing with personality.

The yarn has long and beautiful colorways with gorgeous transitions between the different colors. And it even has a glitter thread, adding that touch of real Halloween magic. The color of the glitter thread matches the primary color of the yarn to give it a subtle and elegant effect. It’s soft and you won’t feel the glitter thread in the final project.

Universe XL Halloween is nice and chunky and amazing to work with. It has a running length of 220 m (241 yds) per 100 grams (3.5 oz) and can be used for any project where you’d like that little extra volume.

You can make the craziest Halloween sweater, funky hat, or maybe a magical, enchanting shawl in hypnotic purple or poisonous green colors. Luckily, Universe XL Halloween can be used all year round. You could also use it to knit or crochet a colorful blanket with a touch of bling.

I am in love with the Halloween yarn! This is my first time getting any kind of Halloween themed yarn from anywhere and its honestly amazing. I got Dark Matter and like all the universe yarns, there is a nice amount of each color before the color change which is something I am always looking for in a yarn with color change. The glitter strand held up well to my granny square swatch which is excellent!

I didn't realize it had a glitter effect when I purchased, but I was so happy when I found out. I got the horror halo variant because purple is one of my favorite colors and the gradiant of this yarn as I work is so pretty and intoxiating to me. The glitter thread isn't bothersome to the texture at all and adds a nice touch that is so fun to work with.

Love this yarn! The colors are so vivid and the yarn is very soft when worked up. The glitter thread can be a little annoying but just be careful and make sure you get the glitter on your hook or needle as you work so it won’t drop and get bunched up or snagged. Slow and steady :) can’t wait to use more of it!

Love this yarn! I used color 3 to create an absolutely stunning (if I do say so myself :P) northern lights shawl for my Mum (we had just gone on a trip to see them together). It's soft, easy to work with, and I love the glitter that runs through it - creates a lovely final product!

The colors are beautiful and the yarn is super soft and comfy! I picked Horror Halo because it seemed to be the one that'd be easier to justify wearing more frequently, especially with my love of purple. I can also knit with it without feeling yarn "rug-burn"!
