Fantasy Jumbo is a thick version of Hobbii Fantasy that comes in large, chunky skeins. The yarn is voluminous and soft and has beautiful, deep colors reminiscent of a kaleidoscope. You get the softest acrylic yarn with a lovely volume, which makes the yarn a dream to work with.
The Jumbo version can be knit or crocheted on e.g. a US 11 needle or an L hook (8mm), so you’ll see results quickly. The airy yarn is easy to knit with. The stitches lie neatly side by side, which only enhances the many beautiful colors.
Fantasy Jumbo is spun in a premium acrylic of the highest quality. The fibers are processed several times to ensure the highest quality, softness, and airyness, and you feel it instantly with Fantasy. In addition, the fibers are very receptive to color, giving Fantasy a beautiful depth of color, which only makes it even more magical to look at. The pretty color combinations are mixed with each other and change throughout the skein, resulting in a varied color flow while you knit or crochet with the yarn.
If you’re allergic to wool or just want to use a yarn that does not contain animal fibers, then Fantasy is a great choice. The yarn feels pleasant against your skin and can be used by children and adults alike.
With Fantasy Jumbo, you get a thick, chunky, and pretty yarn that can be used for a wealth of different projects - e.g. a cardigan for the color lover, shawls and accessories, or chunky blankets and pillows.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 1976-294). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This has got to be some of the softest yarn I’ve ever worked with. I’m constantly just squishing my face into the jumper I’m knitting ‘cause it’s so soft.
It’s actually got a bit more of a stripe to it than I was expecting. I’m using it for a cabled jumper and this may not have been the absolute best choice for cables. You can still see the cables, it’s just less obvious.
You get a lot of yarn for your money here. I got the entire bottom half AND about 1/3rd of the front of an XL sized jumper out of one ball of this stuff. Most other yarns at this size only have 50m or so of yarn in them. Not this! I’m probably going to have enough of this left over after my jumper to make a beanie AND a scarf!
For the feel/quality and the amount you get in a single ball, you definitely get your money’s worth from this!
I’m already thinking about what other projects I could make with this yarn.

First look is the colour, absolutely beautiful No: 10 Magic Rain…First Feel… so soft, even smells nice.
Cast on: Yarn does not split, only on to first ball and found a join… which I cut out and rejoined with Russian join. Changed my mind and frogged to less stitches and was a bit tricky … probably my cast on method. Changed Cast on method and all is well. I’m making a Comfy Chemo Blanky for a friends daughter to help her through a terrible and scary time. She’s only young… so sad. My research led me create a blanket that is soft, textured, not to heavy, not too light. Helps to find their favourite colour… Turquoise was the answer… So being my first review … I would absolutely recommend this yarn… While knitting I’m thinking a cuddly generous cardigan to wrap around in the cooler months would be good… My favourite colour … Purple … better add no: 5 Passiflora to my wish list.

OMG! Omg! Omg! Just got my shipment of Fantasy Jumbo and I’m in Heaven. The colors are amazing, vibrant, joyful-just gorgeous!!! I ordered 12 different colors and there are no disappointments. For an acrylic yarn, there’s no scratchiness at all. I make hats to sell as well as to donate to a children’s charity and I just can’t wait to get started with this yarn. As usual, shipment was quicker than yarn I order from U.S. located companies which, in itself, will keep me ordering from Hobbi, but with quality products like this, I just want to order some of everything they offer. And the cute little wooden “handmade” hang tags that I get with my rewards points add such a sweet touch to my hand knit & crocheted gifts. Loyal customer here forever!

I knit for a charity organization and LOVE this yarn. I use an Addi hand cranked loom to create tubes which I then cinch on one end and rib on the other. I LOVE this yarn. 40 rounds and 6 rib for a woman or 46 rounds and 8 rib for a man produces a fabulous hat which fits really well and protects the homeless against dreadful weather.
The yarn runs through the Addi machine so well and I can make a hat in about half an hour. I absolutely love it as I get 3 hats from one skein for women and 5 from two skeins if making for men.
LOVE it.

I LOVE this yarn. I crocheted a scarf out of the herbs and spices color and it turned out so beautifully. this colorway is definitely mostly grey, less turquoise and green like i would have liked but it is still very beautiful. I wanted to choose the right stitch together the best out of the stripes so I made one lengthwise and there was enough to make tassels. I bought it on sale but would by more colors full price. i'm obsessed. the recommended hook is a 8mm US but I sized down to 6.5 and it worked well for what I wanted.
