Olivin is a luxurious yarn that seamlessly blends the timeless elegance of linen with the natural qualities of cotton. Olivin stands out with its composition of 50% cotton and 50% linen, which is produced in beautiful Italy.
This combination strikes the perfect balance between the breathability and the softness of the cotton and the strength, cooling properties, and texture of the linen. This will make sure that you will be able to enjoy this yarn during the warmer seasons and its durability will make it the perfect choice for garments that need to be used frequently by both children and adults. Crafters will appreciate the smooth texture and the even tension, while the natural sheen of linen will enhance the visual appeal of your finished projects. Linen is known for getting softer the more you use it, therefore do not hold back, use it for every occasion and enjoy these beautiful materials.
The carefully curated color palette is mostly subdued and pastel colors are predominant, adding a touch of sophistication and timelessness.
Imagine creating lightweight sweaters and tops, airy shawls and throws, or any elegant accessory. Olivin offers a great deal of possibilities whether you are an experienced knitter or crocheter or a beginner.
Embody the understated elegance with Olivin.

This yarn is perfect for your summer knit and crochet projects. Beautiful colors, super soft, and lovely stitch definition too! I have the purple, sky blue, and the sage--each one a beautiful, very wearable shade. I especially love how the yarn ply has a twist of a light and darker version of each color, giving it a gorgeous heathered look. Using this to make a summer garment currently and it's fabulous!

I'm a huge fan of cotton blends, and this cotton/linen blend is so perfect for the spring and summer c: I'm excited to see what the fabric will look like after a few wears and washes as I know this type of material typically becomes more comfortable and softer with wear. If you want something with nice drape that won't be too hot to wear during warmer weather, this yarn would be for you! <3

I crocheted a short sleeve top with this yarn and really enjoyed the experience. With the linen it is a little more “textured,” but I’ve found that it softened significantly after blocking and wear. I think this is a bit in the heavy sized for a sport weight, but not so much that it makes a huge difference, just something to be mindful off. I’d use it again for more summer tops!

Love the different colours in this beautiful yarn, the variegated look along the thread is gorgeous, it’s lovely to crochet with.
As it’s cotton/ linen it’s still soft and sturdy. Lovely texture, crochets well into granny squares, can’t wait to see what it looks like as a cardigan.
Colours are true to the website and look beautiful when complimented against each other.

The colors of this yarn are so fun. I’m loving working it up and having just the slightest color variation in the same color tone. It’s been very easy to work with, hasn’t gotten tangled or a twisted while crocheting. The texture is a little stiff. But the fact it’s made out of Cotten and linen, I’m sure once blocked, it will become very soft.
