Lollipop is a magical yarn with long beautiful color changes, which comes in large delicious 200-gram yarn balls with a yardage of 350 meters. The yarn consists of 20% wool and 80% acrylic, which, first of all, makes it easy to work with and, secondly, ensures that your projects will be nice and warm to wear.
The 21 adventurous colors found in Hobbii Lollipop are highly suitable for knitting and crocheting projects such as scarves, blankets, ponchos, hats, and various clothing.
Each yarncake is made up of 5 different colors, giving a unique look and color change for your projects.
Please note that the colors may have rubbed off on each other during the dyeing process. There can be small speckles of darker color on the lighter colors in the skein. This is perfectly normal and will add a dashing effect to your finished project.
Please note that the length of the color change can vary from one skein to the next.
Please note that you get one skein per unit you buy. The image with three skeins is only to illustrate how the look of the skein can vary due to the long color sections.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified (no. 2276-367). Find more information about the certification at https://www.oeko-tex.com/en/

This is the review for Lollipop, San Diego color (24). This is nice one compared to another one I bought in color Austin (2), which was really rough, quite surprising that different color makes texture so different. I appreciated that Hobbii Customer rep reached out to me and gave me a refund for that Austin color one, as I could not use it at all. This San Diego color one is soft and just the right amount of popping pink! I would be putting photo there too, so check that out to see the color for reference. It is nice' soft though it is acrylic mostly with 20% wool, and it was pleasure to knit with. I wish this comes in 250g but overall I am happy with this cake yarn. Recommend! Thanks Hobbii!

I just received my order with this yarn, and it is lovely stuff! A comparable yarn that is readily available here in the US is Caron Cakes, but the quality on the Lollipop cakes seems higher, and I like muted colorways that are available.
One of my cakes arrived unraveled and tangled, likely due to the bag being tossed around so much during shipping. Fortunately, the yarn wasn't damaged and is usable, and the other items in the bag were not broken. I understand the need to ship in bags to keeps costs low, but I had things in the bag that really needed to be wrapped in padding, not loose. It was only sheer luck that nothing broke.

I LOVE this yarn. i buy a lot of yarn as I knit for a local non-profit which serves thousands of people, especially with hats at this time of the year. I find this yarn to be a perfect weight for hats, mitts, and gloves. The colors are absolutely fantastic and have long color runs which means that what I make is highly interesting, especially if I make a set of mitts/hats/scarf. As I said, I knit for charity but I really believe that what is given to those in needs has to say "Somebody cares about enough about you to make something pretty for you." This yarn does that.

I used two mega balls of lollipop to make the granny stripes shawl.
The yarn is lovely, the colour change isn’t too abrupt and two balls made a lovely large wrap.
I would say that the first ball had six knots in in which I found to be a bit below acceptable but the second ball only had one so o think it was a one off and I’d be very happy to buy again.
I love that when you buy on Hobbii you’re given some patterns/video tutorials . As a beginner it really helps me to visualise what to do with yarn, rather than buying then surfing to find something I could make.

Lollipop yarn has been a treat for me.
I first purchased Lollipop to try my hand at making a hexagon cardigan. Since then I've made hats and scarves to match. The blend of acrylic and wool make this great for cool weather as a cozy layer that keeps me warm even with the open granny square stitches. Also, as someone who can be wool sensitive, Lollipop yarn has not bothered me when I work with or wear it over other clothes.
The colors are delicious and I have purchased 5 different colorways so far. I see more Lollipop yarn in my future and look forward to it.
