These needles are smooth and have nice sharp tips for picking up stitches easily

These needles are too sticky, both with the yarn and in the pad of my thumb! I had just started using them, on my second row of knitting when I felt a sharp jab. A thin sliver of the carbon fiber was imbedded in the pad of my left thumb. The fiber broke off and is still imbedded in my thumb. It appears to have come off of the needle right where the fiber joins the brass at the cable end. I will NEVER use Karbonz again!
