Sweet Tweed is a yarn made in Italy that combines both the fluffy mohair look and the elegance of the contrasting tweed speckles.
A lot of fibers have been combined to produce this yarn: acrylic, polyamide, mohair, wool, cotton, and polyester. The colors are mostly neutral, with the addition of some more vivid hues.
Sweet Tweed can be used in many different ways. It can be paired up with another type of fiber to add some volume and fluff to your project, or it can be worked with multiple threads at the same time for a fuller yet lightweight effect. Crafters that look for a challenge might want to try working with a single thread for more airy creations.

I selected this lace weight yarn to hold together with a fingering weight yarn in making my first cardigan, and it just looks gorgeous as it works up. I chose the colorway 12 and am holding it with a burgundy yarn, and the richness of the colors together have created a beautiful blend. The tweed appearance also adds a nice touch of variety to the knitting when paired with a solid, and I think any projects that call for a mohair-like held in the future I'll lean to this yarn again. It's my first time working with a yarn of this weight and type, with an obvious halo and needing to hold it along with another yarn, and it could not be coming out better with this, I am VERY happy.
Since this is tweed, this is more fun for me to work with than just plain mohair yarn! Good to work as single strand, but combine with other yarns would be great too ( I made a snood with Sweet Tweed and fine weight wook yarn with 5.5mm hook, and it turned out great for its look and feel!)
I love this lightweight yarn! The tweed is very slight and not overbearing on the otherwise fluffy fiber. It’s an incredible yarn at this price point.
This yarn is super soft! And I just love the colors 🤩
