This set includes every size crochet hook that you would need to learn crochet. The smallest hook (2.5mm) is perfect for fingering weight yarn and the largest size 8.0mm) is sufficient for bulky weight yarn. The tip is rounded to prevent splitting, and the aluminum is lightweight and strong. While I have broken smaller size bamboo and wooden crochet (3.0mm), Aluminum won’t break. The sizes are clearly marked and won’t wear off. The only downside is that it’s not as comfortable as wood or ergonomic hooks.

Honestly not what I expected. While the hooks are nice with the variety and sturdiness, the coating is very strange. It sticks to the yarn? It is not very easy to crochet with them and leaves my hand feeling clammy. I tried washing them hoping it would come off and it did not help. If you're going slow and need to really take your time with a piece, then this coating it has might help? But overall it slowed down my crocheting and left my hand feeling strange after.
